The Myt-OME database contains the sequence data and associated information generated through the Genome British Columbia project “Development of a Health Assessment Tool for Marine Mussels (Myt-OME)”. This project aims to increase the genomics resources for species of marine mussels, including individual sequence reads generated from mixed tissues obtained from Mytilus edulis and Mytilus galloprovincialis following exposure to a variety of natural and man-made environmental stressors. These include temperature, hypoxia, salinity, bacteria and physical disturbance.
Information presented in this database is constantly changing as new sequence is added and analyzed. The database itself is in its development stage, which will include the addition of further analyses and expanded functionality.
